40 DAYS FOR LIFE PRAYER VIGIL: Please make plans to pray during the Columbia 40 Days For Life Vigil which started Wednesday, September 26 and goes to Sunday, November 5 during the hours of 8am to 6pm daily.  A trained core Team member is present and will greet you and give you guidance.  Prayer Vigil on the sidewalk outside Columbia Planned Parenthood, 711 N Providence RdClosing Rally dinner at St Andrew (400 St Andrew Dr) Holts Summit on Saturday, November 11 at 6pm.  Chicken Dinner served by Knights of Council 8400.  Silent auction and program with guest speaker.  Further information:  Kathy Forck 573-821-5130.  Sign up on vigil calendar All are welcome–thank you!



Saturday, October 14th – OLOS Fantasy Night 2017 – The price is now $110, which includes a prime rib dinner for two, a chance to win many cash prizes, up to $10,000, a dance, and adult beverages. Fatima Celebration – In honor of the 100th Anniversary of the final Apparition of Our Lady at Fatima, Portugal, the Cathedral of St. Joseph will be hosting Fr. Charles Becker on Sunday morning, October 15th at the 11:00 a.m. Mass.  (We will pray the Rosary before Mass at 10:35 a.m.)   Following Mass, Fr. Becker will talk about the Apparitions at Fatima and forming Prayer Cenacles in the manner of the Marian Movement of Priests. Fr. Charles Becker is priest of the Archdiocese of Chicago and will be the celebrant of Mass and our speaker.  Father Becker is the National Responsible for the Marian Movement of Priest in the United States of America, a worldwide Movement begun by Our Lady in Fatima through Fr. Stefano Gobbi who received interior locutions explaining the need for Consecration to the Immaculate Heart of Mary.  Fr. Becker has for many years been the Emcee at the Annual Marian Conference in St. Louis.  “Our goal is to promote the formation of Cenacles in homes, in communities and parishes as we celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Apparitions of Our Lady at Fatima.” The Rosary, Mass and talk will last about two hours.  Following the formal presentation, Fr Becker will move into the Chapel for those interested in forming Cenacles or having personal questions for Fr. October 16th & 17th (Monday/Tuesday) – St. Anthony Parish, Folk, Join your fellow parishioners, family, and friends for two nights of thought provoking, and spiritual exploring with stories and Sacred Scripture from an entertaining storyteller, Chuck Jansen. Monday, October 16th 6:30-8:00 – Chuck will dive deeper into the dynamic and complicated process of Forgiveness and how it relates to being in full communion with the Most Holy Eucharist. Tuesday, October 17th 6:30-8:00 – Chuck will help us in exploring our Faith Journey with Sacred Scripture and real life stories. He will challenge our minds and hearts to explore our spiritual paths to become the light God created us to be. Join us for two enjoyable and reflective evenings. Consider asking friends and neighbors to join you. A free will offering opportunity will be made available at the end of each evening.

Saturday, October 28th – We are planning on holding a Halloween Hay Ride/Tractor Drive at 10:30 am. Starting line will start behind the ball diamond; the event is all FREE, tractors/ATV/UTV/etc.., bring your own cooler, chili will be served after the drive at the KC Hall.
