My name is Amy Schnoebelen and I am the Bereavement Coordinator for SSM Health at Home – Hospice in Jefferson City.  Every year we sponsor a 1 day grief camp for children, Camp MAGIC.  This event is for children ages 6-12 who have experienced a loss.  It can be the loss of a parent, sibling, grandparent, friend, or neighbor.  It is free for the children and we provide all food and drink for the day.  The parents or guardians are also encouraged to attend as there is an adult support group during the morning. Here is the link to apply online if you have families who would prefer. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at 573-681-3750.
